It seems like this blog - The Secret Life of Nona Yobiznaz (TSLNY) has been caught in a sort of limbo/transition for some time now.
So, I've had a good think about what to do with this blog...
After thinking it through I thought I could do one of two things:
1) Force myself to update this thing more often: Any blogger can tell you that when you don't blog often you kind of loose your knack for it and it becomes more of a chore than a harmless daily habit. The quality and frequency of my posts have seriously declined and this thing has become annoying, even for myself, to read and update. To get specific, because I'm not updating often a lot of things going in my life, the daily AND somewhat major stuff, are geting caught in the shuffle and instead of explaining everything on here I'm being lazy and giving little snippets which are unrepresentative of the "whole story" and thus sort of inaccurate. Not to sound like I'm taking myself and this blog too seriously but - that is the last thing I want TSLNY to be about - I'd rather stop blogging than let that be the case.
2) Start a new blog under my own name: This option is not really viable because I'm simply not the type of person who enjoys censoring what I write because someone I know may read me slamming them on here. Most readers of TSLNY know that (especially in the earlier years) I regularly blog about friendship drama and other very personal stuff. That's just what I do, I can't imagine NOT doing so.
So after exahausting all possible options I've decided: The Secret Life of Nona Yobiznaz is closing down.
I think there was a point when TSLNY was useful to me, fun (sorta...lets not get too geeky now) to update and somewhat entertaining for you all to read but I think this chapter of my life has come to a close. This however does NOT mean that stupid random crap doesn't happen anymore - I still have a knack for getting myself and others into sticky situations. It also doesn't mean that the good ol' cynical, sarcastic biatch you all came to hate/love is dying or has morphed into someone who is either plastic or thinks they're too good for blogging, it just means...
Well, I guess it just means that all ferociously good/amazingly fantabulous/annoyingly perfect/irresistably sexy/so bad it's good/[insert adjective of your preference] thingees must come to an end. And, surely, everyone knows that.
For all those that commented, to all those that have become friends, to all those that helped out in those afore mentioned "sticky situations" - Thank You. It meant something.
